Marcou and P. C. Doolittle were chosen a committeeand given full power to make contracts. The matter ofraising a sufficient amount of money to finance the projectof municipal ownership of an electric lighting system wasdiscussed at meetings held on various dates. It wasfinally decided favorably Sept. 14, 1912, and the Townvoted to raise $15,000 to install this system of street andcommercial lighting.
