Four (ioldie & Mc-Culloch boilers, which are situated in the east end of thel)uilding, supply steam for operating the six horizontal,single cylinder, 12.; Leonard & Sons engines; directconnected to kw., 25()/l2r> volt, compound wound, 3-wire, generators, running at a speed of 27T , convenientlyarranged in two rows of three, in the well ventilated and il-luminated engine room.
