Air Force Airman 1st Class Matthew Lenz, a loadmaster assigned to the 15th Special Operations Squadron, conducts airdrop training during Emerald Warrior, Eglin Range Complex, Feb. 24, 2021. Emerald Warrior is the largest joint special operations exercise involving Special Operations Command forces training to respond to various threats across the spectrum of conflict. Emerald Warrior is a SOCOM-sponsored, AFSOC-executed exercise designed to provide relevant pre-deployment training for SOF, conventional force enablers, partner nations and interagency elements.
