texting at wheel of HGV outside Infants School
A road-safety life-size model of a child has no effect outside Iver Heath Infant School, as a white HGV approaches, with the driver clearly texting at the wheel. If this were a real child who had decided to run out into the road, he would have been killed outright as the white lorry driver was distracted! This incident occurred just 4 days after the horrific M1 motorway collision, involving 2 lorries, where 8 innocent people died. Does anyone take notice of these road-safety initiatives?
