Taken at Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, run by the Park Service, and located in Columbia, North Carolina. The Scuppernong River runs through the Refuge and the Park Service has constructed a wonderful interpretive boardwalk along the banks of the River. There one can see the changing forest, often literally reflected in the River. This image shows two trees that appear to be interacting with one another with the River
