THE BETTER WAY Just the way that suits. Small parts are most economic-ally threaded with the Geometric Threading automatic screw machines cannot profitably dpslowed down to cut threads when there is a Geometric-Threading Machine at hand. Especially since aGeometric Threading Machine costs one-tenth the priceof automatics. Geometric Threading Machines are employed on a large classof small threaded parts that cannot be produced economicallyon the ordinary screw machine. Made in three sizes—to cut i/8 to i/2 inch, %, to % inch, and% to \y-> inch diameter threads. The carriage is mounted on slides and on the largest size machineis moved back and forth by rack andpinion, and in the smaller sizes byhand. Spindle speed changes readily made, adapting the machine to the diameterand material of the work. An adjust-able stop assures accurate length ofthread, and automatically opens thedie head, permitting of drawing thew
