The Pagoda Fountain dates from 1648. It is thought to have been designed by an Anduzien who travelled to the far east about that time in connection with the silk industry.(The Cevennes was once an important centre for the silk industry in Europe). It is famous for its brightly coloured ceramic roof tiles.
