Started in 2004 by the Poulters. these races between Guild teams raise money for the Lord Mayors charities, Wellbeing of Women and ORBIS. Guilds taking part include the Gunmakers who provide a starting gun, Clockmakers who attend to the timing, Fruiterers who provide lemons, Cutlers plastic forks, Glovers white gloves to be worn by each runner and the Poulters whose eggs are used to make the pancakes.
