PHILIPPINE SEA (June 17, 2017) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Jake Bonet, from Wallingford, Conn., relocates a CH-53E Super Stallion, assigned to the “Dragons” of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 Reinforced, in the hangar bay of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard, flagship of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG), is operating in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to enhance partnerships and be a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
