A planter's whip, also known as cat-o-nine tails. Wooden handle, finished/shiny top coat, of a medium brown, with decorative incisions around the circumference of the handle, as well as various widths throughout on the handle, (almost like a turned or fluted chair leg), with a rounded base. Leather strips (10 total) of varying length make up the tails. Strips are cut from single piece of leather connected onto the top of the handle, with two leather braids circling the circumference as decorations.
