The Reddit website is seen on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 during their protest over the legislation in Congress concerning online piracy. Reddit and other websites are protesting for 24 hours the proposed Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the Protect IP Act (PIPA) which they feel will allow US authorities to shutdown websites that are accused of online piracy without due process and threatens the freedom of the internet.
