MAYPORT, Fla. (March 27, 2017) – Information Systems Technician 3rd Class Joel Ramos and Aviation Machinist’s Mate Airman Tyler Vargo prepare the ensign for morning colors on the fantail of the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Iwo Jima recently returned from conducting a series of qualifications and certifications as part of the basic phase of training in preparation for future operations and deployments.
