An old 1930's press photograph showing the navigation area on the bridge of the French ocean liner 'PARIS' before she caught fire (for the 2nd time) , and capsized in Le Havre on 18 April 1939. The wreck remined in situ until 1946. She was built by Penhoët, Saint Nazaire, France. Laid down 1913 but not launched until 1916 and not launched until 1921 and was the largest liner sailing under the French flag, at 34,569 tons
