The beach of Glyfada, in Athens, Greece, during the days of the oil spill in the Saronic Gulf. The white bags are full of crude oil which was collected from this very beach. The oil spill ocurred on september the 9th, 2017, in the Saronic Gulf, and till this day (25/09/17) the beaches from Piraeus till Saronida, and in Salamina island, are not suitable for swimming.
