Potted Lampranthus around a pond and patio.

The vivid magenta flowers of Lampranthus spectabilis, also known as the perennial mesembryanthemum or Livingstone daisy. Native to South Africa and Australia. Can tolerate a little frost but best overwintered in a greenhouse or conservatory. Will thrive outside in full sunshine during the summer months. A stunning sun-lover! When these patio pots have finished flowering, I remove them to a shady spot and replace with potted geraniums
