Type, P. tenehrifera. Proboscis fully developed ; palpi upturned, slender; antennas of male with bristles and cilia ; tibife with the spurs moderate ; abdomen clothed with rough hair, with sublateral tufts of long hair at extremity, the claspers long and clothed with downturned hair. Fore wing with the apex rounded, the termen obliqiiely curved ; the subcostal and median nervures approximated to origin of vein 2 which arises from middle of cell and is downcurved at base ; 3 from angle of cell, downcurved at base ; 5 absent; 6 from upper angle; 7, 8, 9 stalked, 7 from beyond 9 ; 10 from angle of cell; 11 becoming coincident with 12. Hind wing with the basal part of costa lobed and fringed with hair, the apical part truncate ; vein 2 from well before angle of cell; 3, 4 coincident; 5 absent; the discocellulars very short; veins 6, 7 coincident; 8 from angle of cell. In key differs from Pseudilema in the fore wing having vein 6 from the cell.
