PHILIPPINE SEA (Aug. 20, 2022) – Hull Maintenance Technician 3rd Class Jolee Rosa, from Port Lavaca, Texas, assigned to the Emory S. Land-class submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), fires an M2A1 .50-caliber machine gun observed by Chief Gunner’s Mate Thomas Salmons, from Logansport, Indiana, during a live-fire exercise, Aug. 20, 2022. Frank Cable is currently on patrol conducting expeditionary maintenance and logistics in the 7th Fleet area of operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
