UNITED STATES - June 27, 2016: Here in the showroom of the Mt. Defiance Cidery & Distillery in Middleburg Virginia is a set up using the classic French Absinthe Ritual. The dripper containing ice water stands over a glass with about one ounce (30ml) of absinthein a glass below the dripper. Then a they lay a flat, perforated absinthe spoon across the rim of the glass, and place a single cube of sugar on the perforated area of the spoon.
