A bed of them is a continual feast to the eye, and the flowers are simply ex- quisite for bouquet work. They are also unexcelled as vase plants, standing dry and hot weather well, while for winter blooming they are real treasures, blooming incessantly. It is not generally known what splendid winter bloomers , and for this purpose they should be puichased in the spring and watered liberally during the summer, the flowers kept pinched ofT, and potted the first of September.
