A silver-mounted hunting hanger, German, circa 1760 A curved (lacquered) single-edged blade with a double-edged falchion point. On both sides the ricasso is etched and gilded over a black background with trophy bundles, pandours, and the inscription "V:Pandur". Fine silver hilt, chiselled in relief with ebony grip. The leather scabbard has been restored at the lower end with a non-matching chape. The locket has the original by-knife and fork. Stamped "KILIAN" on the suspension hook.
