On the left headland is tho Engine, with Windlass and WaterJCartattached, and directly opposite to them the anchor, and between them the Plough is pulled backwards and forwards,oneend of the Plough being alternately in the air and the other in its work. The Engine and Anchor propel themselvestfor-ward along the headland as the Plough performs its work, so that they may be always opposite to the ENGINES purchased for STEAM PLOUGHING can be used for any other operation the Farmer may are made to move themselves by Steam from field to field or place to place, requiring but one or twohorses in the shafts to steer them.
