InOctober of that year they proceeded to Mesopotamiaand became part of the 11th Cavalry Brigade, andduring 1918 were at Nedjef (January-February),Euphrates, Hit, Khan Baghdadi, Anah (March-April).In July, 1918, Lieut. Shuttleworth entered hospitalat Baghdad suffering from malarial fever. In Sep-tember he was transferred to Bombay, and in Decem-ber was invalided to England.
