The most familiar through the south. Yucca, Filamentosa Eleta. A fine, small leaved variety, variegated foliage. Yucca, Filamentosa Baccata. Rather scarce through Southern California. Yucca, Draconis, Similar to R. Glauca; very fine. Yucca, Alosfalia. variegated; an erect, strong growing variety, leaves very stiff, sharp pointed, with light green variegation, a very fine sort, scarce. Yucca, Tri-color. Very choice, plants not so rank as others, but very showy. Yucca, VVhipplii. Common Mescal of San Bernardino county. The \'uccas, especially the last, when used as a border plant, make a striking effect in a tropical garden. Try them and vou will be convinced of its novelty. Plant them about i foot to 18 inches.
