United States Army Central military personnel, both military and civilian, and guests bowed their heads in a group prayer, USARCENT headquarters, at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, on May 6, 2021. The National Day of Prayer is an annual day of observance held on the first Thursday of May, designated by the United States Congress to reflect and meditate on God through prayer.
