Strook machinale kant met Machine Side Strip: Machine Valenciennes. The strip is strongly curved in shape. The repeating pattern consists of a curved branch with a rosehip and a few leaves. Under each branch is a wide curved shell made along which a narrow unilateral blade lies. The motifs are made in linen stroke with openwork edges and some recesses. They are interconnected by a square mesh soil, a machining valenciennes ground. The top of the strip is straight finished. The sloping edge along the bottom of the strip is finished with picots.
