Twenty-two locally contracted construction trucks line up outside of Combat Outpost Lion, Oct. 19, to deliver gravel to be used in and around the COP. Before the arrival of troops and the establishment of COP Lion, local construction companies refused to deliver gravel for fear of being attacked by insurgents throughout the village. The trucks arrival is a display of confidence in Soldiers' ability to secure the area and take away the last bit of terrain the enemy had freediom of movement within. 111019-A-6041K-010 by 1 Stryker Brigade Combat Team Arctic Wolves
