The Chester Rows in city of Chester, Cheshire, consist of covered walkways at the first-floor level behind which are entrances to shops and other premises. At street level is another set of shops and other premises, many of which are entered by going down a few steps. Die 'Rows', die zweistöckigen Ladenpassagen in der historischen Innenstadt von Chester, die bereits im frühen 14. Jh. in Stein- oder Fachwerkbauweise errichtet wurden. Die im Tudorstil errichteten Arkaden-, Kolonnadengänge und Galerien sind über weite Strassenzuege miteinander verbunden.
