The clean up and repairs after the storm at Cromer "North Norfolk" UK

In late 2013 and early 2014 parts of UK suffered storm surges along our coastline. The North Norfolk coast suffered severely as the high tide combined with low pressure and high winds brought a large swell of water down the north sea. The damaging effects were felt from Kings Lynn down to parts of the Essex coast. Many of the vulnerable cliffs around Norfolk and Suffolk received some of the worst high storm seas for many years and apart from accelerating the erosion washed a number of homes from the already crumbling cliff edges.
