A German or French parade helmet,in Renaissance style,circa 1860 Two-piece skull profusely decorated in relief,of cast iron. The obverse of the comb with a caryatid surmounted by a three-dimensional dragon with screwed wings. With attached cheek-pieces(both hinges defect). Height without cheek-pieces 39 cm.
