Giant Pacific Octopus at the Seattle Aquarium in 2019. The aquarium has a local octopus on display for six months to one year of its 3 - 5 year lifespan. This one is a female, named CJ who weighs 45 lbs and was released back to the ocean a few days later to be replaced by a new octopus. CJ is gliding through a transfer tube that takes her from one of her habitats to another.
