Mr. Gresham, under whose faithfulful leadership this achievement tookplace, came to Kenilworth from FirstPresbyterian Church, Savannah, had previously served as pastor ofthe West Asheville Presbyterian Churchfrom 1918-1929. He is a graduate ofPresbyterian College, Clinton, S. C, andof Union Seminary. He was ordained bythe Asheville Presbytery Dec. 15, 1918. Mr. Gresham and his faithful wife,Cora Sue, have been a power for servicein the Kenilworth community—^not only. Rev. Paul N. Gresham by the faithful preaching of the Word,but by living as helpful neighbors andfriends. They have entered into thehomes of everyone and have broughtfaith and cheer to those in need. Theirfamous daliah garden has brightenedmany homes of the community. Andtheir interests have extended beyondKenilworth. Their compassionate heartscarried them to Arden where they liter-ally put their arms around this littlecommunity and loved a church into ex-istence. Faith really and truly has beentheir victory, but if one should ask themtoday, they would reply in the thoughtof Paul: We do not say that we haveattained, but we press on toward themark.
