Piles of cleared debris sit awaiting disposal outside the fence line at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. When hurricanes Irma and Maria hit the Caribbean in September 2017, they caused massive damage and scattered debris through the island. Several government and civilian agencies along with units from the 1st Mission Support Command, were tasked with clearing and opening the roads.
