Navy Sailors assigned to Navy Region Hawaii raise a flag over a coffin during an interment ceremony for Navy Shipfitter Third Class Francis Hannon at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii, Oct. 13, 2022. Hannon was assigned to the USS Oklahoma when the ship was attacked by Japanese aircraft during World War II. Hannon was accounted for on Aug. 28, 2017. DPAA's mission is to achieve the fullest possible accounting for missing and unaccounted-for personnel to their families and the nation.
