Chicago, Illinois, USA, 15 March 2018: Construction crews for the City of Chicago tear down a home north of the Belmont CTA Station. The city is demolishing 14 buildings at a cost of $320 million to make way for the Brown Line Flyover. The Flyover is controversial with residents of the Lakeview neighborhood who feel it is destroying the neighborhood and creating permanent scars. Once completed in 2024 the flyover is expected to reduce commute times by 4:00 and add capacity to the Red, Purple and Brown Lines. Credit: D Guest Smith/Alamy Live News
