There are not any too many violets and they will not be plentiful for Christ mas. In lilies, Paper Whites, Romans, stevia and poinsettias there will be the usual supply and demand. Groens are sufficient for all demands. Club Meeting. The St. Louis Florists' Club held its regular monthly meeting Thursday af- ternoon, December 10, in Odd Fellows' hall. The meeting was by far the tnost interesting of the year and the attend- ance was large. President Bourdet had charge and all the other officers were present. All committees were called upon for final reports. The report of the spring flower show committee caused an interesting discussion, which took up the greater part of the after- noon. The discussion showed that the plans of the committee were favored by the majority of those present. Frank Robinson, manager of the Coliseum, was present and gave a talk on flower shows. He said he would assist the^'cortt- mittee in any plan they might under- take. At the close of the discussion Chairman Smith asked for one more month's time before a vote be taken by the members, and the request was granted. The trustees also gave a lengthy re- port on an entertainment and dance for the members, their families and friends. In this, report the chairman, W. A. Rowe, stated that they had ar- ranged to have Westminster hall .lan- uary 27 for this event and that the tickets would be 50 cents a person.
