The Town House, overlooking the High Street, is Dingwall's oldest building and currently houses Dingwall museum.


Dingwall Town House bought 1733 and converted to the town tolbooth 1735 - 1745. Clocktower designed by John Boog added in 1773. Also used as schoolhouse and jail. 1902 - 05 dormered side wings and central balcony built. Clock tower rebuilt to existing form. 2013 - 16 clocktower masonry restored and lime harling re-introduced. Currently used as Dingwall museum.
