HANSCOM AFB, Mass. -- Local, state, federal and civilian agencies throughout Massachusetts are preparing for the largest Homeland Security exercise that has ever been held in the Commonwealth. Vigilant Guard 19-1 is a full-scale exercise that will be conducted in not-yet-released areas across Massachusetts from 5-9 November 2018. The program provides an opportunity for local, state, and federal agencies, National Guard units, and private sector partners to improve emergency response plans, inter-agency relationships, and interoperability.
