Rolcusmollis (soft wood grass) was very abundant on all the plots lastseason. The manures applied to plot 7 (slag, potash, and groundlime) were most efEective last season. Last autumn the youngwhite clover plants had made a good start on Division B, onDivision 0 some of the grasses were also showing themselves,and on Division D the plants recommended by Mr. Elliot werepresent, but in a very early stage of development.
