PAPERS RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF KINGS COLLEGE. 103 The Reverend Henry Esson, in name of the Committee on the admission of students to theTheological College, gave in a Report on the course of study to be pursued in that College, -whichwas read and sustained, when it was resolved to refer the same to the College Committee for theirguidance in the interim, with instructions to them to revise the same, and submit it to the Synod?Commission for their approval. In his historical paper, relatiug to Knox College read at semi-centenary of that College, in September, 1894, the Reverend Doctor William Reid said:— Hitherto the Reverend Henry Esson was the only Professor permanently engaged in con-ducting the classes ; but, in 1846, a ter corresponding with the Free Church of Scotland,
