He was married in Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, Oct. 2811838, to Permelia, daughter of Nicanor and LovisaMunson, natives of the State of New York. She wasborn in Chenango Co., N. Y., May 7, 1820, and hasbeen the mother of five children, three of whom sur-vive : Sidney N., Harvey S. and Horace A. -The de-ceased are Alonzo C. and Elizabeth A. Mr. P. has held the different school offices in hisdistrict, and in the spring of 1881 he was electedJustice of the Peace, which office he continues tohold. Mr. and Mrs. P. are members of the Method-ist Episcopal Church. Politically, Mr. P. is a Re-publican.
