OCEAN (Dec. 3, 2008) Naval Aircrewman 2nd Class David Hudson monitors vertical replenishment procedures from an SH-60B Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light (HSL) 42 during a replenishment at sea between the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Laramie (T-AO 203) and the guided-missile cruiser USS Vella Gulf (CG 72). Vella Gulf is deployed as part of the Iwo Jima Expeditionary Strike Group supporting maritime security operations in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
