The car bouse is situated near the Laxey terminus, and liasaccommodation for six cars in two rows. Pits are provided forsix cars. As mentioned above, the chief work of thenew company on taking over the tramwaytrom the liquidator has consisted in centraliz-ing the power supply and dispensing with someof the numerous separate generating stationswhich were in existence at that time. Newrolling stock has also been supplied, and thewhole of the line has been generally over-hauled and brought up to date.
