This last point is of great importance to an out-door rose, as it enables it to keep in good condition in the hot sun for several days. I have never had so pleasant a surprise in any new rose as in this. It is the nearest to any ideally perfect out-door rose, of any one in existence, as far as my experience goes. It gave me, last season, a full crop of the grandest show flowers every three weeks. This does not need to rest on my statement alone, as I exhibited blossoms from each crop to the seedsmen and florists
