Frontage of the Hotel Clery at Hesdin-l'Abbe near Boulogne in northern France. The 1766 chateau and converted farm buildings, has a rich history. Napoleon’s Chief of Staff, Louis Alexandre Berthier stayed at the Chateau whilst the French army was being mobilized for the invasion of England. During WW11, the chateau was occupied by German administration staff.
