English and Italian rye-grassseed mostly comes from Scotland and Ireland. Theseed of the less common grasses, such as tall fescue,sheeps-fescue, the bent grasses, and sweet vernal, arenot saved in this country to any extent, but are im-ported from the Continent of Europe, mostly fromFrance and Germany.
