YOKOSUKA, Japan (Dec. 12, 2018) Master Chief Petty Officer Matt Lashley, command master chief of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65), left, presents Cmdr. Leroy J. Mitchell with a gift from the Chief’s Mess during a Change of Command Ceremony. Benfold is forward-deployed to the 7th Fleet area of operations, and a member of Destroyer Squadron 15, in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
