Cotswold Airport. Canberra and Hunter classic vintage jets of Midair Squadron civilian jet display team. Ex RAF aircraft

Cotswold Airport, Kemble, Gloucestershire, UK - 30th April 2014: An exciting new air display team was unveiled today at the one-time RAF Kemble airfield, now Cotswold Airport. Their two iconic British jets from the cold war era will display at airshows around the UK during 2014. English Electric Canberra PR9 XH134 and Hawker Hunter T7 XL577 have been restored to flight by Midair and will make their public debut at Abingdon Airshow this coming Sunday May 4th. Canberras first entered service with the RAF in 1951 and Hunters in 1954. All are now retired from RAF service but a handful of Hunters are flown in private civilian hands and just this one Canberra in the UK.
