Little Colorado River, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

We were so blessed to be able to see the Little Colorado River is turquoise. If is rains, it can change to a muddy brown with all the salt coming off the rocks from the Grand Canyon once being under an ocean millions of years ago. I have see turquoise waters in British Columbia, but never, never imagined it in a desert climate like this. It was a shocking surprise.
