Roses have been scarce and shippers liave been un- able to fill their orders completely. Car- nations are arriving in fairly heavy sup- ply, but the demand has been so strong that the growers are cutting down to tight buds. Miscellaneous stock, such as sweet peas, valley and narcissi, moves well. Cut cyclamens have been used to help out on funeral work. Pot plants do not sell well and cyclamens, ferns, etc., are plentiful. Various Notes. Edward Johnson and party were vis- itors Saturday, January 14. They were entertained by the florists at a dinner in the Watrus cafe. This was followed, during the evening, by a bowling match, in which the Denver men were vic- torious, taking all three games. G.
