ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 16, 2018) Sailors assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 2 and Dr. Alexis Catsambis, right, an archeologist with the Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC) review video and sonar scans of the wreck of the World War I ship USS San Diego (ACR 6). MDSU 2 Sailors are aboard USNS Grasp (T-ARS 51) with Naval History and Heritage Command personnel to conduct inspections of San Diego and also participate in a wreath laying ceremony to commemorate the 100th anniversary of its sinking, honoring the six Navy Sailors who died on the ship.
